My name is Phil Spratt aka "Spratti". I live and work on the beautiful Gold Coast just south of Brisbane in sunny Queensland.

I am a qualified Graphic Designer operating my own design business - Creative Minds for the past 17 years. I studied Graphic Design in Sydney, where I grew up.

I worked as a cartoonist and caricature artist in Sydney for many years.

The term caricature comes from the Italian 'caricare', meaning to overload.

The art of caricature has a long and colorful history worldwide. Did you know that Monet early in his career earnt his living as a caricaturist?

In certain South American countries, their political caricaturists have been assassinated because of their revealing social comment. I have drawn a number of political figures in editorial cartoons that would probably like to do the same to me!

I have been producing caricatures as personalized gifts, for the past 16 years. I have also been producing regular editorial cartoons, book illustrations, cartoon logos and cartoons for websites and t-shirts.
